Latest commission for an amazing family! I loved completing this piece!! Confidence is a tricky beast. I must admit, mine was shattered not too long ago. But God has been speaking so clearly lately. Words of wisdom while I paint are unique and special. I can’t help but be thankful for all the ways that HE has moved and shaped the aspects of my life! I know who I am because I know who HE is.

There is never a moment I don’t recognize who unlocked this ability in me. The God of mercy saw a hurting girl, and spoke beauty out of her darkness!! I remember Jesus today with equal significance as many in the world do. Easter is important, a big deal…but everyday that leads to Easter, and every day that comes after it…is a big deal too…the work of a real, true, good, and gracious God. With irrefutable evidence of His goodness and steady presence!!

God, Thank you for being true, and real, and good. 2000 years ago, and today. You get all the glory for your good then. You get all the glory for good now.
