It all comes down to hope

So it all comes down to love I chose the name “technochroma” for my art as it encompasses my creative process and medium: colorful, curious, techy pixels dreaming their way onto the screen. I use mathy software to create painterly dreamscapes quite unlike some hard-edged, structured fractals out there. I intuitively let the composition most naturally arrive to its own layout, and let colors and shapes fall together as they will. I occasionally revisit my roots and do something highly structured, or partially structured, so I like to think of my fractals as being in an “open style” – neither structured nor unstructured, but somewhere in between. What I always hope to create are pieces that evoke wonder and lend serene pause. I started to delve into fractal art about 15 years ago, so nearly half my life has been dedicated to fractals.
