Tuesday, Sept 15 – Yearbook Picture Day!
Bring those bright smiles! Today is Picture Day for yearbook portraits.

⏰ Wednesday, Sept 16 – Early Dismissal (11:30 AM)
Students dismiss early at 11:30 AM. Afternoon bus routes will run approximately 3 hours earlier than normal (Reminder: K–2 students must have an adult waiting at the bus stop). Please send any transportation changes ahead of time to [email protected].

🌮 Friday, Sept 18 – Spirit Day & Pablo’s Spirit Night!Today is the FINAL day to cast your vote for BES Staff of the Month! Dine out at Pablo’s Mexican Restaurant all day long to support our school!

🐻🩵 First Grade has had an AMAZING Week 8! 🩵🐻

Our little learners have started learning all about personal narratives and have even begun writing some of their very own! ✏️📖 We love watching their ideas, creativity, and confidence grow as they learn to share their own stories.

We’ve also had a wonderful week of continuing our learning with addition and subtraction! Our first graders have been working hard to explore different strategies and figure out which strategies work best for them. ➕➖

We are SO proud of our First Grade Bears and all of the hard work they are putting in each day! We can’t wait to see what the end of Quarter 1 has in store for us! 🐻🩵✨

Thank you to all of our wonderful families who joined us for Wise Person’s Day today! Our Kindergartners loved spending this special time with you, making sweet memories, sharing treats, and creating together. We are so grateful for the love and support you bring to our BES family! 💙🐻🤍

These kiddos are putting in the extra work and pushing themselves toward EXCEEDS! 💪⭐

Today we mixed learning with a little fun through games, hands-on practice, teamwork, and plenty of thinking! I love seeing them challenge themselves, encourage one another, and keep growing with every activity.

They’ve got a goal in sight, and they’re working hard to get there!

📚✏️ Math is in action in 3rd grade!

Our students have been busy making connections between multiplication and area by building arrays, finding the area of rectangles, and showing their thinking in different ways. We love seeing those lightbulb moments when students realize how multiplication helps us solve real-world problems! 💡➗✖️

Lots of hands-on learning, teamwork, and mathematical thinking happening at the BESt school around! 🐻💙
