Leadership reminder:
You cannot pour into your team, your students, your staff, your business, or your family from an empty cup.
The strongest leaders are not the ones who constantly run themselves into exhaustion. They are the ones who understand that self-care is not selfish — it’s stewardship.
Sometimes being a “selfish” leader means:
• Creating moments of peace
• Setting boundaries
• Taking care of your mental and physical health
• Giving yourself time to reset
• Making space to breathe, reflect, and grow
Because when you take care of yourself well, you lead others better.
Burnout helps no one. Healthy leaders build healthy environments. 🤍

“Perfectionism is the enemy of ex*****on and is an elaborate high-achiever form of procrastination.” — Richmond Dinh
This resonates deeply with so many of the conversations I have with leaders.
So many high-performing professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs stay stuck—not because they lack ability—but because they’re waiting for:
• more certainty
• more confidence
• the perfect plan
• the perfect timing
Meanwhile, momentum is created through action, not perfection.
One of the biggest shifts I’ve seen in individuals I work with is what happens when they stop overthinking every step and simply start moving forward intentionally.
Progress builds confidence far more than perfection ever will.
New leaders—this is for you.
Have you recently stepped into a supervisor or leadership role and found yourself feeling overwhelmed?
You’re not alone.
Leading people requires an entirely different skill set than simply being good at your job. Communication, decision-making, difficult conversations, confidence, delegation, navigating team dynamics… it’s a lot.
One of the biggest mistakes new leaders make is thinking they have to figure it all out alone.
That’s exactly why I created the Tiny Challenge.
A focused, application-based 1:1 experience designed to help you:
• Gain clarity
• Work through real leadership challenges
• Develop strategic next steps
• Build confidence in your role
Sometimes all it takes is focused support and intentional space to move forward.
If this resonates with where you are right now, feel free to reach out.

As this week comes to a close, remember this:
You do not have to have everything figured out to keep moving forward.
Growth often happens quietly—
through consistency,
through difficult conversations,
through showing up when no one sees the effort.
Don’t underestimate the power of small, intentional steps.
A year from now, the version of you that kept going will be grateful you didn’t quit.
Finish the week strong.
Walk into the next one with purpose.

Too many professionals are waiting for their company to invest in their growth.
The reality?
The people who continue advancing are usually the ones taking ownership of their own development—learning new skills, seeking feedback, building relationships, and positioning themselves for what’s next.
Your growth cannot depend solely on:
• Annual PD sessions
• Company training calendars
• Someone else recognizing your potential
Invest in yourself.
Develop yourself.
Position yourself.
I get so much fulfillment from working 1:1 with individuals as they take ownership of their own personal and professional growth. There’s something powerful about watching people gain clarity, confidence, and momentum toward what’s next.
Because the individuals who grow intentionally are often the ones trusted with greater opportunities.

There’s something surreal about hearing your own story spoken out loud.
What started as private journal entries—trying to process thoughts and feelings I had buried for a long time—has now become an audiobook reaching people in an entirely new way.
This journey has reminded me that sometimes the very thing we try to keep hidden…
becomes the thing that helps someone else feel seen.
Grateful for everyone who has supported this message, shared it, or encouraged others through it.
Out of the Valley, Into My Purpose is now available in audiobook format on:
• Audiobooks.com
• Everand
• Kobo
• BookBeat
If you’re in a season of transition, growth, or rediscovery—this story may meet you where you are.
