Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor those who are no longer with us due to transphobia and anti-trans violence.
There is currently a visual display in the Sakowich Campus Center from 10am-5pm.

Day of Silence is a national movement during which people take a vow of silence in solidarity of the many LGBTQ+ youth who are silenced by anti-LGBTQ+ bullying, harassment, and violence. This year we ask you to take a vow of silence either verbally or virtually by abstaining from going on social media and limiting texting. We understand that many people are using social media and communication as ways to maintain their mental health, so if these options are not conducive to your situation then we ask that you please just share the information! You can use the second graphic to post on your social media to show why you are choosing to be silent today.
