Last weekend, The Forum was proud to host the 2026 Feaver‑MacMinn Seminar, bringing together students, faculty, and industry leaders for two days of exploration into applied artificial intelligence in the workplace.
Honoring the legacy of J. Clayton Feaver and Paul MacMinn, the seminar featured keynote talks, breakout sessions, and a closing panel with three outstanding voices in AI:
• Dr. Asim Ali (Auburn University)
• Dr. Shishir Shah (University of Oklahoma)
• Dr. Kyle Jones (Databricks, AWS, ExxonMobil)
From responsible AI deployment to the future of data‑driven decision‑making, conversations bridged theory and practice—culminating in student presentations that connected course concepts to real‑world applications. For students in PSIS 4700: Applied AI in the Workplace, the seminar served as a capstone learning experience.
Thank you to our speakers, students, and partners for making this event a success. 💡

We were excited to have PCS back in our building this week. During their visit, they hosted a meaningful conversation with University of Oklahoma President Joseph Harroz, where students had the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions and gain insight on leadership, resilience, and staying motivated through every stage of their journey.

Moments like these were a great reminder that growth comes from both challenges and successes, and we’re glad to be a space where conversations like this can happen.
