This week, we honor the three men whose vision began Alpha Tau Omega: Otis Allan Glazebrook, Alfred Marshall and Erskine Mayo Ross.

In the aftermath of the Civil War, Glazebrook envisioned a fraternity that could bring college men together, independent of North and South. He shared that vision with his close friends and fellow VMI cadets Marshall and Ross, who joined him in signing ATO’s original constitution and bringing the Fraternity to life.

More than 160 years later, their vision of brotherhood continues.

Love & Respect. 🔵🟡🤜🤛

For 161 years, our Alpha Tau Omega National Fraternity has brought men together through a shared commitment to leadership, brotherhood and a purpose greater than themselves. 🤜🤛

This week, we celebrate our history and the generations of Taus carrying it forward. 🦾

Join us throughout this week as we honor Founders’ Day on September 11 and 161 years of Alpha Tau Omega. 🟦🟨🇺🇸
