WE DID IT! 🎓🎉


I say “we” because all the wives out there know how much any kind of medical schooling definitely involves you too! Even so, it has changed my life in the best possible way and I couldn’t be prouder of my hubby. This has been 6 years in the making and he has worked so hard to achieve his goal to become a PA.


In the last week, we’ve celebrated graduation, said goodbye to friends, welcomed family visits and moved. It’s been a whirlwind to say the least. We’re temporarily staying in my family’s mountain cabin until we figure out what’s next. So for the time being, I will be teaching with some awesome views 🏔😍
That’s the beauty of teaching online for sure 👏🏻


We’re so excited to see what’s next. If I’ve learned anything the past two years, it’s to lean into change instead of fighting it. I’ve now seen how wonderful it can be on the other side. 🧡💜 @ Eastern Virginia Medical School

Life is overwhelming right now- sorry I have been MIA and totally a slacker on the VIP Photo challenge 🙈


My husband graduates from PA school this weekend, YAY! We have been soaking up our time here in Norfolk with the wonderful friends we’ve made here.



I’m SO sad this chapter is ending. Moving to this city has taught me so much about myself and what I want from life. I clawed my way out of depression here. I quit the b&m classroom and found VIPKid 🙌🏻 I was pushed out of my comfort zone only to find out how strong and resilient I can be. And honestly, I am so much happier.



I am taking the entire week off of teaching to enjoy, celebrate, pack and move my little family. So if I’m quiet on here, that’s why. Life is exciting, sad, overwhelming and joyous right now and I want to soak up every moment.

⭐️Day 8: Struggles


The queen demands her coffee 👸 (haha)
I LOVE coffee. I drink it religiously every morning and it definitely helps to get those early mornings going (YIKES 3am)


But since I’ve been an online teacher, I’ve developed a bad habit of also drinking coffee as an afternoon pick me up to get me through the rest of the day. Anyone else with me?! 😙


I’ve had to limit myself to no more caffeine after 1pm because otherwise I can’t get to sleep at night 😫


Btw- this is not sponsored by Starbucks- my hubby just happened to go out and buy me a coffee this morning to feed my habit 😂😂 Thanks honey! 🙈

I’ve had a few questions about Magic Ears 💜

⭐️Magic Ears is an online ESL company with a highly interactive platform. Each class is 25 minutes and one teacher can have up to 4 students at a time.


⭐️ The bass pay is $22-24 per hour. Teachers earn a raise every contract (every 6 months) and can also earn incentives by being to class on time and booking during peak hours (7-9am EST)


⭐️They offer a very lenient sick policy- no teacher is ever penalized for canceling classes for personal sickness or their child’s sickness. Because of this, teachers can book standby classes for $2 extra per class to help out our fellow teachers.


⭐️The Magic Ears family is supportive, uplifting and positive. They completely support teachers, listen to our concerns and help them succeed.


⭐️As long as you follow the company’s bottom lines, you will be successful.


⭐️Teachers need to have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, eligible to work in N. America and be a native English speaker.

Day 6: Inspiration ⭐️



First of all, my God and husband are my biggest inspirations. Jordan always supports me no matter what and is my drive behind every decision I make. My God is faithful and has always provided exactly what I needed. I love you, !


Secondly, there are so many teachers (especially on IG) that inspire me to be a better version of myself. Personally, I think IG is the best way to find truly passionate teachers in the social media world 🧡

Day 3: Shirts!


When you wake up at 3am, a T-shirt makes life easier (I have a whole section in my closet just for teaching shirts 😅) Orange is not my favorite color, so these have been my go to’s lately. 👌🏻


Do you rock your VIPKid gear outside of the classroom? I feel weird wearing them if my name is on them, haha 😆

What made me choose VIPKid?


I knew I wasn’t happy in the classroom any longer but I still loved teaching. I feel like it was what I was born to do. In short, I was very conflicted. My husband saw a Facebook ad and encouraged me to apply. Honestly, we weren’t sure it wasn’t a scam. 🙊


After I taught my first class, I was over the moon. I felt so lucky to be able to continue my passion at home on my own schedule. I AM SO MUCH HAPPIER! And that is not a lie. You can ask my husband 😂
