Tell Your Story, Your Way is officially open.

It's a 6-week small-group cohort for cruisers who want a simple online presence they'll actually use. We get your home base built, then go deeper on whatever makes sense for you: newsletter, blog, podcast, video, or even just using AI to help you write.

If you've been thinking about sharing your story and haven't done it yet, this is the nudge.

One thing I hear from cruisers all the time: "I know I should be doing something with my story. I just never know where to start."

Same. I've been there. And the answer isn't to build a giant online presence... It's about figuring out the one or two things that actually fit your life and doing them well.

That's the whole idea behind a small cohort I'm putting together this summer. Six Loopers or cruisers, six weeks, and a focus on what works for you. Not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.

The Rendezvous happened. Two talks, a lot of great conversations, and something new I opened for people who want to document their Loop journey with real support.

The Loop Letter is out this week with the full story, plus new blog posts and book club news.

Sailboat friends, this one's for you.

My husband Chris is joining me for this month's Third Thursday call in the Loop Life Academy community, and we're talking through one of the more memorable parts of our Loop: the Erie Canal.

Taking down the mast, getting it onto stands, navigating the locks, putting it all back up on the other side... we'll walk through the whole process and answer your questions live.

Sailboats & The Erie Canal
Thursday, May 21 @ 6:30–7:30 pm EST

Available to Premium members in the Loop Life Academy community on Skool.

Had such a great time at the AGLCA Spring Rendezvous this weekend. The Tell Your Story session turned into one of the best conversations I've had at an event. So many of you have incredible stories and just need a starting point.

I'm opening a small cohort at the end of May for cruisers who are ready to do something with their story. Six people, six weeks, and we go at whatever pace makes sense for your life on the water. No pressure to build everything, just figure out what fits and get it done.

If you were at the session and want to know more, send me an email at [email protected] or visit https://www.looplifeacademy.com/tell-your-story/your-story-your-way

We talked to so many awesome people but had to head out first thing Tuesday morning to make it home later that day. Please reach out and chat with me more about your ideas after my Tell Your Story talk and about anchoring!

Today we had more seminars, the group photo, and our last day of Looper Crawls! It’s been a great time!

If you've been meaning to document your Loop (or you started and fell off) this one's for you.

Here's the honest answer: most of us start with too much. We launch the blog, the Instagram, the YouTube channel, and the email list... and then life on the water happens, and none of it gets done consistently..

It started as a session I gave at the AGLCA Spring Rendezvous in Norfolk. The room was full of Loopers at every stage: dreamers, planners, active Loopers, Gold Loopers... The big question I kept hearing over the years was the same one I had when we were planning our own Loop:

How do I actually document this trip without it taking over the trip?

Here's the honest answer: most of us start with too much. We launch the blog and the Instagram and the YouTube channel and the email list... and then life on the water happens and none of it gets done consistently.

This course is what I figured out from doing it wrong first.

WHAT'S COVERED?

📋 Every major platform (blog, YouTube, Facebook, journal, voice memos, podcast, book) and the honest time cost of each

⏱️ The Time Reality Check -- what documentation actually looks like when you're underway, working remotely, or homeschooling kids on a moving boat

✍️ The No-Regret Strategy -- the simplest possible habit that still creates a legacy worth having

📄 Three downloadable worksheets to help you find your format and commit to a plan

HOW TO ACCESS:

The course is $27 standalone, or free with a Premium membership.

If you were in the room at the Rendezvous for my session, thank you. This is the full version of the session, plus the worksheets and more.

Your Loop is worth remembering. Here's how to make sure you do. ⚓

We’re at the Rendezvous! Look for Alison and the kids and say hello! Alison will be leading seminars on Sunday (Tell Your Story) and Monday (Anchoring) for the Looper 101 track at 1:30pm each day.

Two days away.

If you're heading to the AGLCA Spring Rendezvous in Norfolk this week, come find me on May 3 for Tell Your Story, a session on how to document your Loop in a way that's actually you.

We'll talk about:
📋 How to pick the right format for your life and personality
⏱️ The honest time cost of every platform
📍 What's actually worth capturing (and what you'll forget if you don't)
✍️ The simplest possible documentation habit that still creates a legacy

There's a worksheet. There are real examples. And I promise it won't make you feel behind.

Not going to Norfolk? The full course (plus more) will be available in the Loop Life Academy community right after the Rendezvous:

See you there. ⚓
