A look at the racial wealth gap 60 years since the Civil Rights Act - Marketplace A new report from the National Urban League highlights progress, but also underscores how elusive economic equality is.

The Norfolk Wealth Project , supported by the City of Norfolk, in collaboration with the Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund, is focused on building wealth and bridging gaps to create a more equitable future for all.

In support of that, they host Financial Literacy Education Workshops to provide education, guidance and tools to ensure lifelong financial stability and success.

Join them at Norfolk State University for a discussion on “Norfolk’s Racial Wealth History” with Cassandra Newby-Alexander, Ph.D.
