Today’s is

I am divinely guided and protected.

Asé. Blessed be. It is done.

Rise and shine. The world is mine.

Today’s message was so necessary for me.

I used to try to hold others accountable based on my standards of divinity, but that was never my job or my place.

The only person I can ever truly hold accountable in this life is myself.

That’s the difference between judgment and assessment.

I am assessing you to hold myself accountable to being intentional about my placement and my surroundings.

I no longer judge people who have malice or hatefulness in their hearts toward me, but I do hold myself accountable to keeping them out of my environment.

Frenemies, bad vibes, energy vampires, etc. exist in your life if you allow them.

Assess how others treat you, talk to/about you, act around you, etc. and determine if those actions are in alignment with your boundaries and then hold yourself accountable to either holding onto or releasing those people based on that assessment.

I am entirely to divine to allow just anyone in my space.

I’ve taken so much time curating my peace and building my sanctuary of solitude, the last thing I would ever do is be lazy about my assessment or intake process.

I am a very welcoming person with an infectious Spirit and energy which makes me attractive to both low and high vibrational beings.

That is why I am the QUEEN OF DETACHMENT!!

I will release someone with love, ease, and joy in my heart.

It is my divine right and duty to do so.

If no one’s ever told you, it is your divine right to let people go!

We all entered this world alone and for the most part much of our time here will be spent that way.

So the time we do spend with others should be nothing less than soulful, divine, and aligned.

Today’s is

I am the only blueprint of my experience. I am my own role model.

Rise and shine. The world is mine.

It was heavy on my heart to get this message out today. Re-entering the world of academia reminded me why I dropped out of college the first time.

I wanted to gain LIFE EXPERIENCE.

My GPA has proven to me that I am a great student capable of studying a discipline and retaining knowledge, but what makes me an EXCELLENT addition to my classes is MY EXPERIENCE.

I asked my professor if we could use less examples of racism in our class unless we are discussing what makes people racist because I am tired of having to relive traumatic racial experiences for the educational purposes of white students.

My experience is mine to own. If there is any knowledge to be gained from it, it is only what I choose to offer.

The emotional labor it takes to help white people gain knowledge of the black experience is one that I no longer have the capacity for.

I do have the capacity to gain knowledge of the racist experience to study and learn what, why, how, racist become racist and what we can do to psychologically heal and/or deplete it once and for all, but no one’s having that conversation in my Social Work classes.
