🪁☀️ Up, Up, and Away! ☀️🪁

Today we celebrated National Kite Day with creativity, imagination, and lots of fun! Our students enjoyed decorating and coloring their very own kite pictures, showing off their unique artistic styles and bright ideas. 🎨✨

But the fun didn't stop there! We also created special hand kites with colorful ribbons that our little learners could wave and "fly" all around the classroom & playgrounds. Watching their excitement as they ran, danced, and made their kites soar was pure joy! ❤️

Activities like these help strengthen fine motor skills, encourage creativity, and inspire imaginative play—all while making wonderful memories with friends. 🪁🌈

This little learner worked hard to carefully balance each flower, showing incredible focus, patience, and determination. Activities like these may look like simple play, but they are actually helping children develop important fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving abilities, and concentration. 🌼🧠

✨ Last week we had our first round of Pre-K exits as our students begin their summer adventures and prepare for kindergarten! What a beautiful journey it has been watching these incredible children learn, grow, and shine.

Whether they’ve been with us since infancy or joined our family more recently, each child holds such a special place in our hearts.

As they step into this next chapter, our prayer is that they continue to grow into exactly who God created them to be. May they always walk with confidence and security knowing that God made them, God loves them, and God has a beautiful plan for their future. ❤️

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We are thankful for the freedoms we enjoy because of their courage and service.

🃏🎲♟️ FAMILY GAME NIGHT ♟️🎲🃏

We are excited to celebrate International Family Day with our Family Game Night tonight from 6:30–8:00 at the center! Here are a few things to note before the fun begins:

❤️ All board and card games will be stationed throughout classrooms in the academy. Our infant center will be CLOSED during the event. See the attached flyers to peek at our gaming options! 🫣

❤️ Outside we will have the bounce house, lawn games, sensory stations, and all playgrounds open to enjoy!

🥨 In the academy hallway, we will have a Build-Your-Own Trail Mix Bar set up for families to snack and enjoy.

This event is for our entire S&B community — past, current, and future families are all welcome to join in on the fun!

Friendly reminder: this is not a fully staffed event. Children on site remain the responsibility of their caregivers.

Our students have been LOVING the new outdoor sensory stations! We may owe a small apology to moms and dads for the extra distraction that prolongs pick-up time… but we sure do love seeing your children so happy and engaged throughout their day with us! 🤍

National Day of Prayer ✝️🤍

Last week, we celebrated National Day of Prayer with this beautiful banner displayed in our lobby featuring God’s plan. Families were invited to write prayers over their children, teachers, and our school community.

What a special reminder of the strong community we have here at SBCA and the power of prayer covering our children each and every day. We are so thankful to partner with families in raising little hearts to know and love Jesus.
