General information

The Meaning of a Co-Op "We are all here for a common reason, our childern. To enjoy being parents, learning with our children "how to cooperate" which also means being considerate of others, no matter how we may feel about that person or their ideas. We are not here to like or agree with everyone. Parent educators need to be comfortable in the role of mediator rather than an expert. Co-op is a constant learning, changing and growing experience - comparable to a garden - no two years are ever the same and you always learn something new as long as you're weeding with your eyes open. Please, let's cooperate-communication is the key." From a former Chattaroy Co-op Parent.
