On Friday (May 29, 2026), Dr. Marcelle Trote Martins hosted our 10th Anniversary of STR's Annual Postgraduate Conference at The University of Manchester!
Delegates could listen to our Keynote Speaker - Professor Martin Coward (Queen Mary University of London) - discuss how the city of Manchester has memorialized the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing.
A huge thank you to the dozens of early-career Terrorism Studies scholars who delivered such exciting presentations across eight full-capacity sessions, and to the colleagues who generously volunteered to serve as Chairs.
Finally, we thank our Host - Dr. Marcelle Trote Martins - who worked alongside our President - Professor Rachel Monaghan - and Members of the Governing Board - João Raphael da Silva and Tina Billington-Hughes - over the last months, to guarantee the success of .
