🏃‍♂️ CELEBRATE LABOR DAY WITH A 4-MILE RUN IN NEWTON FALLS! 🏃‍♀️

Start your Labor Day morning with a scenic 4-mile run through Newton Falls, Ohio, including a trip through our historic covered bridge!

Best of all — ENTRY IS FREE! 🎉

All proceeds and donations benefit the Newton Falls Cross Country Program. The race will be professionally timed using our Fully Automatic Timing (FAT) camera system, with results posted on RunSignup.com and Athletic.net.

💰 ENTRY FEE: FREE!
There is no entry fee, but donations to the Newton Falls Athletic Boosters are greatly appreciated. Assorted race T-shirts will also be available with a donation while supplies last.

🏃 THE COURSE
The 4-mile road race starts and finishes at Newton Falls Elementary School. This out-and-back course travels through residential streets and takes runners through the historic covered bridge in downtown Newton Falls!

📝 REGISTRATION
Register online through RunSignup.com (link is in the first comment or scan the QR code on the flyer) or register in person on race morning.

Newton Falls JH/HS kicked off several home openers yesterday, and our Tigers had some great moments!

🏐 Volleyball: JH Volleyball had a strong showing, while both JV and Varsity earned wins over LaBrae. Varsity put together an impressive performance, winning in straight sets!

⚽ Soccer: Our girls and boys soccer teams took the field against Crestview. The girls battled hard and gave a great effort, while the boys came up just short in a heartbreaker, falling by only one goal.

⛳ Golf: The Tigers are back in action today as our golf team heads out for another match.

Great effort across the board—keep it going, Tigers! 🐯🧡🖤

🌟 GOLD STAR PRESCHOOL! 🌟

We are incredibly excited to share that Newton Falls Preschool has earned a GOLD Rating in our very first year! 🥇🐯

This is an amazing accomplishment and a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and love our preschool team pours into our youngest Tigers each and every day. From creating welcoming classrooms to providing meaningful learning experiences, our staff has worked hard to build a strong preschool program—and earning Gold in year one is something worth celebrating!

A very special thank you to the Educational Center of Eastern Ohio for their leadership, partnership, and professionalism in making this outstanding opportunity available to our families here in Newton Falls. We are grateful for their continued support and collaboration in helping us provide high-quality early learning experiences for our youngest students.

We are so proud of our preschool staff and thankful for the families who have trusted us with their little Tigers. 🧡🖤

Thank you to two amazing local businesses for supporting our JH/HS!

A huge thank-you to Vinny’s, located at 425 Ridge Rd. in Newton Falls, for generously donating food for our staff during Wednesday’s workday. We truly appreciate your kindness and support!

We also want to thank Newton’s Nook, located at 601 N. Center St. in Newton Falls, for the wonderful Tiger T-shirts! Our staff loves them!

Thank you both for supporting our school and showing such wonderful Tiger pride!

NF JH/HS Marching Band kicked off an exciting pep rally as we sent our football team off to Wellsville! All of our fall sports teams were recognized, and our cheerleaders made sure the entire student body was ready with all of our best cheers—including the Tiger fight song!

The pep rally ended on a special note with students and staff coming together to sing our Alma Mater. What a great way to celebrate our student-athletes, build school spirit, and show our Tiger Pride!

The countdown is ON! Thursday, August 20 is the first day of school, and we can’t wait to welcome our Tigers back!

A new school year means new friends, new learning, new adventures, and BIG opportunities to grow.

As we roar into 2026–2027, remember: Every day matters! Being at school and ready to learn is one of the best ways to start the year strong.
