🧠 DID YOU KNOW?
The Landmine Push Press is a game-changer for softball hitters?
Here’s why 👇
đŸ’„Explosive Power – Builds upper-body and core strength that translates directly to bat speed and hitting force.
🌀Rotational Stability – Mimics the rotational force needed in a swing, improving balance and control through your hips and shoulders.
đŸ§â€â™€ïžSingle-Side Focus – Helps correct imbalances between your dominant and non-dominant side, keeping your swing strong and symmetrical.
đŸ›ĄïžJoint-Friendly – Safer on the shoulders than overhead presses, making it perfect for throwing + swinging athletes.
📈 Want more power in the box?
Add the landmine push press to your strength routine and feel the difference when you step up to the plate

Let’s take a look at Maleah’s progress! First video is from March and the second is the most recent!

First video to second changes: Maleah has learned her timing and sequence of her pitch, allowing her to not close her hip too soon and create front side resistance. She has also excelled with internal rotation
.look at her whip on that second videođŸ€©

Let’s be honest — the 757 doesn’t need another travel ball team. We’re seeing more and more teams pop up, not because of a real demand or talent gap, but because someone’s daughter isn’t getting the playing time they think she deserves.

Travel ball should be about competition, commitment, and development at a high level — not a fallback when Little League doesn’t go your way. Creating more teams waters down the competition, stretches coaching resources thin, and ultimately doesn’t help the kids improve.

If your daughter isn’t playing as much as you’d like, ask the hard questions: What can she work on? How can she earn more time? That’s what Little League, rec ball, and practice are for — to grow, improve, and compete for a spot. Maybe she isn’t ready to play travel ball and compete at that level yet.

Let’s focus on building stronger teams, not more of them. Quality over quantity always.

Oh, here we go—softball coaches who’ve never picked up a bat in their life but think they’re the next Mike Candrea. You know the type. Clipboard in hand, whistle around their neck, barking orders like they’re running a Navy SEAL boot camp—yet they couldn’t explain the difference between a riseball and a changeup if their lives depended on it.

They memorize drills from YouTube, repeat clichĂ©s they don’t understand (“get your hands through the zone!”—okay, how?), and when a player makes a mistake, it's never the coach’s lack of instruction—it’s always “lack of hustle” or “focus.” Newsflash: yelling louder doesn’t make you more correct. It just makes your players tune you out faster.

And God forbid a player with actual experience speaks up or offers feedback. Suddenly it’s a power struggle. Their ego can’t handle being outclassed by a 16-year-old who’s played more tournament ball in one summer than they’ve coached in a lifetime. But sure—you know best because you read one blog post on team culture.

Look, passion is great. But passion without experience and humility is just noise. If you’ve never stood in the box with two strikes and runners on, don’t pretend to know what it feels like. If you’ve never made a backhand snag at third and thrown someone out on the run, maybe don’t lecture a player on “mechanics.”

Coaching is about teaching, guiding, and most importantly—listening. So how about this: drop the ego, pick up a glove, and learn the game before you try to teach it. Because these athletes deserve better than a sideline dictator playing pretend.

11 year old, Arbor Daliege went up 4 mph in the past 3 months! I was able to watch her game yesterday on live stream so today we worked on a few minor tweaks and she was lighting up the strike zone.

She finished off the lesson doing 7/10 strikesđŸ’ȘđŸŒ
