Designed for homeschoolers in Southern California from Kindergarten to high school level (K~12), American Academy provides a fun, safe, and innova

tive environment for students to engage in social activities, as well as learn their academic core subject courses with the help of our rigorous curriculum. American Academy operates on flexible hours to meet your student’s daily schedule. In just a few hours on the days of your choice, we can help students become independent, self-motivated learners by giving them a customized learning plan with corresponding courses matching their academic goals. At the high school level, students may prepare for college with A~G and AP courses and have the opportunity to earn an accredited High School Diploma. If you are unhappy with your child's education at private schools, public schools, or charter schools, or you don't have enough time to homeschool them every day, American Academy might be the right choice for you. We have locations in Mission Viejo as well as Newport Mesa, and offer remote classes at this time!

Our Story

American Academy creates a perfect setting by pairing the perfect academic environment with the perfect social environment to create the perfect educational setting:

From the parent’s perspective – we have made this really easy for parents. Sign them up and drop them off! Most families don’t use traditional schooling system for different reasons. There is no one right way to do it. So we decided that our academy needed to offer consistent support and maximum flexibility. And that is our goal. We want to be here for you when you need us, and we want to work with your particular needs. We want to help you find the most strategic way to educate your child.

For families who look for an alternative to traditional schooling because your child is a high-achiever and isn’t being challenged, or for the student who needs more time to grasp a concept, for students who prefer smaller settings, or students who needs less noise and chaos, or for students who need a more flexible schedule for athletics, travel, or health concerns. For parents who love to teach their children but whose children need more social stimulation from peers who will challenge and stretch them academically, or parents who love to teach their children but who also have work commitments. Maybe you don’t use traditional schooling systems because you want to select the curriculum, have more guidance of the things that influence your children, have less government involvement in educating your children—whatever the reason you have, we want to be the solution to your concerns about your child’s social and academic development.
