Do You Lie?
You have broken all of Gods commandments. Where you break one, you have broken all of them (For whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all” James 2:10).
God law says, “Do not steal. Do not lie. Do not deceive one another” Leviticus 19:11. “Don’t scheme against each other. Stop your love of telling lies that you swear are the truth. I hate all these things, says the LORD” Zechariah 8:17.
The same God that says to love Him also said, to love one another and for you to love your neighbor as yourself (John 13:34, Luke 10:27).
“And these six things the LORD hates: and seven are an abomination to him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren”
Proverbs 6:16–19.
And the end result is death. “These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death” James 1:15.
“But to the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death” Revelation 21:8.
Prayer for Freedom: Heavenly Father, remove from me the way of lying and grant me Your law graciously (Psalm 119:29). According to Your Word, confession of my sins makes way for Your salvation in my life (Romans 10:10). I confess lying to others, to You and to myself. Please forgive me for disrespecting You and the ones I have lied to. I have sinned and have done evil in your eyes…You are right when You speak and You are pure when You judge (Psalm 51:4). Your Word says, If I will judge myself, then I will not have to be judged of You (1 Corinthians 11:31). Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns. See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23). Create a clean heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Teach me Your way, LORD; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your Name (Psalm 86:11). Do not cast me away from before Your face and do not take away from me Your Holy Spirit. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and grant to me a willing spirit (Psalm 51:12). I thank You for hearing my prayer and working in me both to will and to do of Your good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). I bow my heart and knee before You, in the Name of Your Son, Yashua (Jesus) amen.
