Business and community leaders from Coweta County gathered last week for 's annual Newnan Economic Forecast, hosted at UWG-Newnan! 📊🐺

Attendees explored key trends shaping the local, state and the national economy, while hearing insights from university and industry leaders. Featured speakers included keynote Dr. Jerry Parrish, chief economist for the Metro Atlanta Chamber, along with UWG president Dr. Michael Johnson and faculty from the UWG Center for Business and Economic Research.

Madison Brooks ’26, UWG’s Academic Recognition Day Scholar, was recently honored at a University System of Georgia Board of Regents meeting after earning a perfect 4.0 GPA.
