**SHARING FOR COMMUNITY AWARENESS**

Mrs. Lowe, the wife of former Newfane Senior High School librarian and drama teacher Mr. Francis Lowe, is in urgent need of support. Mr. Lowe was a beloved figure at the school, remembered for his Irish heritage, his honor, and his dedication to students. He passed away from Alzheimer's disease many years ago, leaving Mrs. Lowe to carry on his memory.

Mrs. Lowe herself was an opera student at the New York Metropolitan Opera, and she gave up her promising career after falling in love with Mr. Lowe. She later taught private voice lessons and was a mentor to many, including me. Remarkably, Mrs. Lowe sang the original theme song to the Today Show when it was called the Dave Garraway Show. Now 98 years old, Mrs. Lowe is living on a modest librarian pension. After paying for her mobile home, which is in need of repair and has no heat, she often has little left for food and other essentials. Despite her resilience, she faces daily challenges just to make ends meet. The funds raised here will help Mrs. Lowe cover basic living expenses, especially food, and help repair her mobile home so she can live with dignity and comfort in her later years. 100% of donations will go directly to Mrs. Lowe.

A grandmother, who is the primary caregiver of two students in the Newfane School District, is facing financial struggle and hardship. Her husband was given less than two weeks to live battling ALS. Unfortunately, his life insurance policy will not become available for several months, leaving them without the resources to cover immediate expenses such as cremation and other basic needs. We are excited to partner with the Niagara County Youth Bureau this summer to sponsor the Summer Food Service Program. This program ensures that children continue to receive nutritious meals during the summer vacation.
- Lunch would be available for children age 18 and under
- Lunch must be consumed on-site
- Lunch would be available Monday - Friday from June 29th to August 28th from 11:30am until 12:30pm. **No meals on July 3rd.
- Transportation to the church needs to be provided.

Registration is not required, but for planning purposes please send us a Facebook message, call the church at 716-778-7011, or email [email protected] to express your interest so we have enough food.
