Parents/Guardians and Athletes,

Practice for Fall Sports begins Augusts 17th. Please contact your coach for specific practice information. All athletes must have a physical completed before participating in practice.

IF you plan to participate in ANY athletic season this year, please read the following message carefully and complete the new requirement for concussion education.

According to WHSAA (Wyoming High School Athletic Association), every coach, parent, and athlete must have a mandatory yearly concussion education. This education will be offered by a video through NFHS as a free course – the link is below. At the end of this video, the parent AND athlete will receive a certificate which is required to be emailed/hand delivered to the athletic director. This must be completed and the AD must have both certificates before the first competition, or the athlete will not be allowed to play/travel.

Again, this is in accordance with WHSAA requirements and BOTH a parent/guardian and athlete must complete the education before the first competition. Please complete this traning and e-mail certificates to [email protected] and [email protected]

If you have any questions, please contact the MS or HS Athletic Directors.

Greetings Dogie Country!

The Class of 2026 will be on to bigger and better things as they complete their commencement ceremony this weekend! We are proud of all our graduates, and we are grateful to them for their leadership and character.

Congratulations to those who have qualified for state track and best of luck representing NHS in Casper next week!

All students are required to complete a checkout sheet which is signed for the following areas: classroom teachers, cafeteria, locker check (custodian), Eastern Wyoming College books, Computer (Laptop & Charger). A student will not receive their checkout sheet until all fees or items have been returned and verified by the teacher.

To help your student checkout process go smoothly, please double check early in the week with your teachers that you have turned in all of your books, classroom materials, library books, paid fines, paid fees, and have completed all project work. When you check out you will need to turn in your laptop and charger to the tech office as well. Students may check out on Friday from school and will require a note if checking out early.

This upcoming week the Senior Class of 2026 will make their way across the stage in Crouch Auditorium at 2:00 pm on Sunday May 17th. The doors for the ceremony will open at 1:30 pm. Seniors, if you have any scholarships that you have notified the office of please do so by Monday at 12:00 to be included in the Awards Ceremony. We do not receive notification from all scholarships, especially college specific scholarships.

Graduation practice for all Seniors will be in the auditorium at 1:00 pm and the Elementary School and Manor walks will follow. That evening will be the Senior Slide show at 7:00 pm. Senior athletes will complete checkout sheets Thursday, and the rest of the Seniors will check out on Friday.
