Penn State Harrisburg Alternative Spring Break 2015

After a long and impactful week, ASB is now over, and we are coming home. A huge thank you to everyone who made this truly memorable experience possible. ASB will always be remembered for the service, friendships, and memories we developed this week.

After a great night of reflection activities, we are ready for another day serving the Newark community. It's hard to believe today is our last full day.

Helping unload and organize a food delivery from the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. These meals are part of a healthy snack every child gets each day after school at the Boys and Girls Club.

After a great time exploring some of the cultural attractions of New York City, we are on our way back to Newark ready to spend time with our kids!

Today has shown us some eye opening sights. From a visit to downtown Newark to helping kids with homework and enrichment activities, we have been exposed to important aspects of life for the youth of Newark.

Good morning from the Boys and Girls Club of Newark!

Some of today's activities that we'll be working on include BCG based projects, an orientation to the BCG, direct programming with youth, a town hall meeting and opportunities for reflection. It's going to be a busy and productive day!

The ASB Group has arrived in Newark! We are excited to get to work this week!
