Greetings from Ponce! 🇵🇷 Caribbean Brownfield Week is well underway, and our team is loving the energy.

Alexandra Milan and Natalie Francesco are back on the island, closing out their trip at today’s Brownfield Summit: Transforming Vision to Action. Yesterday was packed with great momentum—breaking down brownfield redevelopment basics, joining the Q&A panel, and sharing how NJIT TAB acts as a completely free technical resource for local communities across Puerto Rico.

Thank you to everyone who joined the conversation yesterday. We can’t wait for another day of learning and connecting!

Qualified consultants will be considered to support TBRPC staff with the implementation of the FY27 Brownfields Assessment Grant and future EPA grants awarded to TBRPC between 2026 and 2030.

🌱 Heading to this year’s Annual Georgia Environmental Conference (GEC) in Jekyll Island?

Alex will be joining Kleinfelder’s Brownfields Program Manager, Camilla Warren and a panel of local government, nonprofit, academic, and state agency partners for “Breaking Down Brownfields with Brunswick and Glynn County.”

The session will kick things off with a brownfield redevelopment primer before getting interactive!
