Maritza's All About the Brain Chiari Awareness and Education

On September 17th we walk for Chiari Malformation. We walk to bring awareness. We walk to raise money for research (something the government doesn't provide/do). We walk because so many of us suffer each day with chronic pain. We walk to help lift each other. We walk so that for this one day we can stand together Strong!
We have 48 registered walkers for Northern NJ...can we make it 50? We have raised $1300.00, Can we make it $2000?
There are 13 teams, Can we make it 15? 20?

Good Afternoon all & welcome..... It is a glorious & beautiful day.... Be well, be safe, & most of all be pain free (that is hopeful thinking!!) Summer has begun... a time some of us wait all winter for to feel better, a time some of us dread because it can make us feel worse..... but I wish you a beautiful summer either way! The 2016 Conquer Chiari Walk Across America will be held on September 17th! Linden NJ will host for its 5th year!!! Hoping to see all my Chiari Warriors there again...& a few new warriors who have joined the fight. Registration will be online soon.... so please be sure to look out for that & to register early!! God Bless... Remember....Awareness is Key!

Each year, Conquer Chiari selects the top teams who raised the most for the Conquer Chiari Walk.... I'm very proud that 3 teams from Northern NJ made it in.....Maritza's All About the Brain.....Team Devin....& Warriors...!!!! So proud....hopefully next year we will see more teams on the wall....Great Job everyone!!
