Part-time, Contract

LDM Accounting Services LLC is growing. Looking for someone to work part-time (approximately) 20-25 hours per week. This position has the opportunity to grow to 30 to 40 hours per week. This individual must be flexible. Some time will be spent onsite at various clients, some time will be worked remotely. Most clients are in the Wilmington/Newark area.

The accountant should have experience in similar roles and a willingness to work independently. Quickbooks experience is required, on-line Quickbooks is a plus, including familiarity with windows-based spreadsheets. The candidate should be proficient in these applications. Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills are required. We value reliability, honesty, teamwork and attention to detail.

A two-year accounting degree is required, but a four-year degree would be preferred. Job applicants must have a strong knowledge of general ledger activities and experience with bookkeeping/accounting functions. Nonprofit experience is a plus.
