6th grade students begin on Monday, 8/31, and all students report to school on Tuesday, 9/1. There is no school for students on Friday, September 4th.

Important Back to School Announcement📣📣📣

"Off and Away During the Day" is Gauger-Cobbs' cell phone, headphone, earbud, and wearable technology policy. In accordance with the district's personal electronics device (PED) policy, students are expected to store their PEDs upon entering the school building, and keep them off and away throughout the school day.

We appreciate your support as we work to help students focus on their academics and minimize the distractions that PEDs can have on the learning environment. 🐍

Join us on Wednesday, August 26th, from 4-6 PM for 6th Grade Jump Start! You'll be able to get a copy of your schedule, meet teachers and staff, and tour the building. We'll also have representatives from our PTA, sports programs, and community partners in attendance.

Dr. Coleman is entering his 2nd year at GCMS. Previously, he has been a dean, a counselor, and a music teacher in both elementary and middle schools. Dr. Coleman loves interacting with students and is excited to welcome our 6th graders to Gauger! 🎉

Join us in welcoming our new Assistant Principal, Ms. Andrea Holt! 💙💛

Ms. Holt is thrilled to be joining the team at Gauger-Cobbs. She has served as an ELA teacher, instructional coach, and school administrator and has worked in Florida, Alaska, and Delaware. After 7 years in high schools, she is excited to return to middle school and is looking forward to making this the best year yet! 🔥
