The student is assisted from the beginning of the college selection process through the final decision of which college to attend. I analyze the student’s academic profile as well as his or her personal interests, preferences and talents, and then create a list of appropriate colleges to which he or she should apply. I have visited many colleges and universities and have spoken to numerous admissi
ons representatives. My experience with the college application process and my knowledge can help alleviate stress for both the student and parents. I assist the student with the application process and help with the Common Application Essay or Personal Statement. Almost all colleges offer tours and campus visits, and I will make suggestions as to which colleges the student would benefit from visiting, along with preparing the student for an interview and follow up procedures. Some colleges offer an Early Decision or Early Action option and I will help the student decide if applying Early Decision or Early Action is appropriate. I am an associate member of the prestigious Independent Educational Consultants Association, a member of New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling, a graduate of Muhlenberg College, magna cm laude, and Seton Hall University School of Law. I am an attorney admitted to the New Jersey Bar, as well as a certified New Jersey teacher. My true love, however, is SAT/ACT tutoring and college counseling because I enjoy working one-on-one with students. I am conscientious and diligent, and work hard with my students. It is so rewarding when my students call me and tell me they were accepted to one of their top choice colleges. Most of my students have kept in contact with me over the years and tell me about their college experiences. References are certainly available. Looking forward to hearing from you to start this exciting process with your student!
