That’s a wrap on our final CV3 Hockey Development Spring Skills Session! 🏒👏

Tonight was all about competition, teamwork, and FUN as the players rotated through a variety of station-based games, including a tire relay race, back-to-back net scrimmages, tic-tac-toe, and fox chase.

What the players may not have realized is that while they were having a blast, they were also developing critical hockey skills like edge work, transitions, decision-making, hand-eye coordination, and overall hockey IQ. Learning through play is one of the best ways to build confident, creative athletes!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our parents for trusting CV3 Hockey Development with your players again this spring. Your support and commitment make programs like this possible, and we truly appreciate being part of your hockey journey.

We hope everyone has an amazing summer, enjoys some well-deserved time with family and friends, and continues to have fun on and off the ice.

Have a great summer, and we’ll see you at the rink! ☀️🏒💙

Testimonials like this remind us why we do what we do.

At CV3 Hockey Development, our goal has never been about chasing banners or collecting trophies. It’s about creating an environment where players can challenge themselves, develop their skills, build confidence, make lifelong friendships, and most importantly, fall even more in love with the game.

When parents tell us they’ve seen significant growth in their players both on and off the ice, that’s the real win.

The funny thing about banners and trophies? When development is the priority, they often become a byproduct. Players who focus on improving their skills, growing their hockey IQ, competing the right way, and becoming great teammates put themselves in the best position for team success down the road.

Thank you to Brittany and Vince Brooks for trusting us with Jax and Jude’s hockey journey. We are grateful to be a small part of their development and honored to watch them continue to grow each season.

🏒 Development Over Banners.
🏒 Relationships Over Results.
🏒 Love of the Game Above All Else.

🎥 Reposted from

Sometimes the strongest thing a teammate can do is ask a simple question: "How are you doing?"

Former NHL defenseman Jason Demers shares a powerful message about what it truly means to check on your teammates. After a 13-year NHL career, Jason knows that mental health battles don't always disappear when the game ends. He openly discusses his ongoing struggles with depression and why reaching out isn't just about helping others—it's also about helping yourself.

Checking in on a teammate is an internal check, too. It forces us to slow down, step outside our own challenges, and create meaningful connections. A conversation, a text, or a phone call can strengthen the bond that keeps a team together.

Life gets busy. We get consumed by our own responsibilities, worries, and struggles. But being someone's support system can make all the difference.

As Jason says, we're all connected. We're all links in the same chain. We get one life, and we're blessed to have it.

Check on your teammates. Check on yourself. ❤️
