Why we teach manual skills.

A needle is just a tool. It goes where you put it.

The skill of acupuncture isn't in the insertion; it is in the information you gather before you insert.

Your hands tell you three things a book cannot:
1. State of the Tissue: Is it fibrotic? Is it flaccid? Is it inflamed?
2. Safety Borders: Where exactly is the edge of the bone or the pulse of the artery?
3. The Reaction: How does the body respond when you press it?

If you skip palpation, you are operating with half the data. We focus on hand skills because that is where the diagnosis happens.

Define your practice.

Words matter. How we define our tools determines how we use them.

Too often, "Lineage" is treated as dogma, and "Anatomy" is treated as a replacement for Qi. We see them differently.

We view the Classics as a strategic map that must be verified by clinical reality. We view Anatomy not as a rejection of the channels, but as the terrain through which they operate.

To be a member of the American Acupuncture Guild is to hold both truths in your hands simultaneously.

Are you ready to bridge the gap?

⏳ ONE WEEK LEFT!

Mark your calendars! We are exactly 7 days away from our deep dive into the Transport Acupoints of the 12 Regular Channels.

If you’ve ever wanted to know the "why" and "how" behind the 5 Transport (Shū) points, and the 3 non-Shū points that mix in, this is the class for you. We will be contrasting these with the Back Shù points and exploring how to use Channel relationships to get faster, more powerful results for your patients.

Don't miss this opportunity to refine your therapeutics.

Did you know food does more than just provide nutrients? Chinese medicine says it supplements resources, clears pathology, and harmonizes you with the environment. Understanding these functions can transform your health.

There is a gap between passing the board exam and treating a patient.

In school, you learned that Gallbladder 21 is located at the highest point of the shoulder. You memorized the cun measurement. You found the dot.

But in the clinic, a "dot" doesn't exist. What exists is the trapezius, the levator scapulae, and the apex of the lung.

The 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐮𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 exists to fill the gap between the 2D map you learned in school and the 3D reality of the human body.

We don't just teach you where to put the needle. We teach you what you are needling into, why you are doing it, and how to do it safely.

If you are ready to move from "Point Location" to "Anatomical Precision."
Welcome to the Guild.

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭.

Acupuncture is a rigorous medical profession, yet the industry often markets it as a luxury spa service. We are here to change that conversation.

We are the 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐮𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝.

We exist to bridge the gap between the theory you learned in school and the gritty reality of clinical practice. We respect the Classics, but we measure success in reproducibility and outcomes.

If you are tired of generic "wellness" content and ready to treat real pathology with precision, you have found your people.

Follow for daily clinical insights and orthopedic protocols.
