January 2nd marked the celebration of the HEROES of the INDEPENDENCE OF HAITI 1804.The Haitian people chose January 2nd to honor the ANCESTORS,all the freedom fighters who broke the chain of slavery in the Island of HAITI in 1804.Many historians would say to honor all of them from the first slave rebellion led by Bookman on the night of August 21-22 ,1791to the last bloody battle of VERTIERES of November 18,1803 under the command of General JEAN JACQUES DESSALINES!
Let us celebrate and honor our ANCESTORS or FOUNDING FATHERS together:Boukman,Toussaint Louverture,JEAN JACQUES DESSALINES ,Alexandre Petion, Henry Christophe !Long live the dream of the FOUNDING FATHERS OF HAITI !

Saturday November 18,2023 will be the 220 years anniversary of the BATTLE OF VERIERES on Northern Haiti. Black General JEAN JACQUES DESSALINES led L'ARMEE INDIGENE HAITIAN REVOLUTIONARY ARMY to defeat the army of Napoleon of France in the battlefield at VERTIERES. As a result ,Haiti became INDEPENDENT from France on January 1st, 1804.LONG LIVE HAITI!
