This year’s Distinguished Service Award honors Dr. Kenneth Schweitzer, a respected leader in prosthodontics. He earned both his DDS and Prosthodontics certificate from NYU College of Dentistry, completing his specialty training in 1990.

Dr. Schweitzer is Assistant Program Director in Prosthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is widely recognized for his lectures and publications in implant prosthodontics. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, where he served as Secretary (2000–2005) and President (2017). He also led the ACP New York Section as President in 2004.
