I slowed down when the voices got loud. They said I was exploiting my children. And for a moment, I believed them.
But here’s what I know now, building a personal brand or a family brand is not exploitation or self fulfilling work. It is one of the most intentional acts of love a parent can make for their children and for themselves. If you’re building community while you’re at it, you’re also serving others. You’re building something that outlasts you, for the generations that come after you.
The pause was a test. And I passed it when I chose purpose over opinion.
Your children’s gifts are not a burden to manage. They are doors waiting to be opened. And in today’s world, those doors lead further than any of us were ever shown.
It is okay to guide your children toward their highest potential. It is okay to show them a world beyond four walls and someone else’s system. That is not pressure that is vision.
Build the brand. Tell the story. Lead the way.
The world needs parents who parent with purpose. 💞💞💞
