Hunter Cares/Hunter Against AIDS

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Musical Rep: Little Shop of Horrors, which raised over $2700 DOLLARS! for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS during their 4 shows!!!

It was an incredible production and helped us to meet more than half of our donation goal this year. And look out for the next Hunter production, the student-directed winter play, All My Sons! Let's keep working to meet this goal. It is an especially important time to contribute to worthy organizations and donations to BC/EFA are always welcome. Stay tuned!

Hunter students at the 30th Annual Broadway Flea Market !! Have already raised over $2,300 at our table alone!

Getting ready for a full year of shows and fundraising!!!

EXCITING SERVICE OPPORTUNITY coming up for those seeking hours, or anyone who wants to volunteer:

Every year Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has a giant flea market on 44th street in Shubert Alley, where tens of thousands of fans and Broadway stars gather to bid on anything and everything from show memorabilia to opening night tickets to Lin-Manuel Miranda's used sweaty undershirt! Hunter students have volunteered in the past and have had a blast.

This Sunday, September 25th is the 30th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction! And we are looking for volunteers age 15+ to help out with setup and manning sales tables to raise money for this great cause. More information is on the website at the bottom. If interested message this page or Emmitt Smith. Shifts are from 7am-12pm and 3pm-7:30pm, but are somewhat come and go and I will log your hours.

Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction 2015 Broadway fans celebrated the 29th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction by bidding on and buying everything from tickets to a bevy of opening night performances…

Everyone should go see Musical Rep 2016 Presents: Kiss Me, Kate!!! Hunter Cares will be having its 2nd bucket collection of the year during the production. We really urge you to go support the students involved in the production, as well as our efforts to raise money for BC/EFA!

The performances are:

Thursday Feb 4th at 4pm
Friday Feb 5th at 4pm & 8pm
Saturday Feb 6th at 7pm

Congratulations to everyone who was a part of Hunter's production of Much Ado About Nothing! It was truly an amazing couple of performances. With the company's help, Hunter Cares was able to raise $1,331!!! Thank you so much to anyone who helped out with the bucket collections and/or donated! Stay tuned for upcoming events!

Congrats to the cast and crew of Average Achievers for putting on a truly incredible show! Thank you so much to anyone who donated money or helped with bucket collects! Special thanks to our coordinator, Liam Edwards-Gaherty for setting up the collections.

We managed to raise $1,560 between the four performances, putting this year's total at $3,210!!! Thanks again for all your support!

Come see the ORIGINAL musical, Average Achievers!!! This is the first main stage production of Average Achievers, don't miss it!

Join the Hunter AIDS WALK Team! It is a great way to support the cause of HIV-AIDS research. Fundraising is optional (but awesome!), and you will get community service hours for walking. Hope to see you there!
