Nothing like seeing our rising freshman and sophomore scholars and families come together for an evening filled with skating, laughter, music, and community! 🛼✨

This weekend was pure fun and a reminder of the power of Ubuntu: “I am because we are.” Every lap around the rink, every smile, and every moment shared helped support opportunities for our scholars and strengthen the village behind them. 💙❤️

Thank you to everyone who rolled with us, donated, and showed love to the HBCU Early College Prep community. And a Big Ups to our Parent Association that have already raised so much money for our scholars this year. Together, we continue to invest in the dreams, brilliance, and future of our scholars.

Thank you for inviting our scholars from HBCU Early College Prep to experience Joe Turner’s Come and Gone by August Wilson.

This powerful play exploring identity, healing, and the Black experience was an unforgettable opportunity for our scholars. They also had the chance to connect with current HBCU students and hear from a recent Spelman College graduate about college, leadership, and legacy.

Moments like these help our scholars truly Be the Dream. 💫

Service. Leadership. Brotherhood. 💙

Our My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) scholars are closing out the school year by giving back to the community through volunteer service at a local food pantry in Rosedale. We are proud of these young men for continuing to lead with purpose, compassion, and responsibility both inside and outside the classroom.

Today, we celebrate Kemari, Josh and Grayson, our HBCU Early College Prep young men who were accepted into the Young Doctors Project!

This opportunity represents more than medicine; it represents exposure, mentorship, representation, and the power of believing in who you are becoming.

We are proud to see our scholars stepping boldly into spaces where they belong: hospitals, research labs, medical schools, and beyond. The future doctors, surgeons, researchers, and healthcare leaders are already in the room.

One day, those white coats will carry your names.

The Hive is proud of you. Keep reclaiming your story.
