Fruit Salad
Ingredients

1 cup 🍓 strawberries, hulled and halved
2 kiwis 🥝, peeled and sliced
1 orange 🍊, peeled and segmented
1/2 cup pineapple 🍍 chunks (fresh or canned)
1/2 cup mango 🥭 chunks (optional)
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp honey 🍯 (or maple syrup)
Juice of 1/2 lime or lemon 🍋

HUGE POT of Chilli At Home

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef (or turkey/chicken for variation)

2 cans of beans (pinto, black, kidney, or white beans, your choice!)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 cup chopped bell peppers (vary colors for a vibrant presentation)

1/2 cup chopped onions (diced finely for those who prefer milder taste)

2 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped (adjust amount based on desired heat level)

2 cans (28 ounces each) crushed tomatoes

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 tablespoon cumin powder

1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped

Hot sauce, to taste

Salt and pepper, to taste

Step by Step:

In a large Dutch oven or saucepan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it’s no longer pink. If using turkey or chicken, ensure it’s fully cooked through as well. Drain any excess grease from the pot.

Stir in the chopped bell peppers, onions, and jalapenos. Cook the vegetables on low heat until they soften and become tender, releasing their enticing aromas.

Now, it’s time to introduce the star ingredients that will infuse the chili with rich flavors. Add the canned beans, crushed tomatoes, chili powder, cumin powder, and the fresh cilantro into the pot. Stir well to ensure all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.

Allow the chili to simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally. This slow cooking process allows the flavors to meld together beautifully and creates a hearty, thick texture. If the chili becomes too thick, add a little water to achieve the desired consistency.

Season with salt and pepper to taste, and for those craving an extra kick, serve with hot sauce on the side.

Biscuits and Gravy

Fluffy, buttery biscuits smothered in creamy sausage gravy – the ultimate Southern comfort breakfast! Perfect for lazy weekends or a hearty brunch.

Ingre: all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cold butter, buttermilk, breakfast sausage, flour (for gravy), whole milk, salt & black pepper.

Instruction: Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cut in cold butter, stir in buttermilk, and bake biscuits until golden. In a skillet, cook sausage, stir in flour, then gradually whisk in milk until thickened. Season well. Serve hot biscuits smothered in rich sausage gravy!

No-Bake Pineapple Heaven Cheesecake Dessert
Ingredients:
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
2 cups cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
1 can (20 oz) pineapple rings, drained
Fresh raspberries for garnish
Whipped cream for topping
Directions:
In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Evenly distribute the crushed pineapple over the cream cheese layer.
Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over the pineapple layer.
Arrange the pineapple rings on top and garnish with fresh raspberries.
Add dollops of whipped cream around the pineapple rings for an extra touch.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set. Serve chilled.

3 medium beets (about 450 g), peeled and cut into wedges

1 tablespoon (15 mL) olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

4 oz (115 g) goat cheese, crumbled

¼ cup (30 g) pistachios, chopped and lightly toasted

4 cups (120 g) mixed salad greens

2 tablespoons (30 mL) balsamic glaze or reduction

Optional: fresh thyme or microgreens for garnish

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss beet wedges with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender and slightly caramelized.

Arrange mixed greens on a serving platter or individual plates. Top with roasted beets and crumbled goat cheese.

Sprinkle toasted pistachios over the salad. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with fresh thyme or microgreens if desired.

Serve immediately as a colorful and flavorful starter or side dish.

📋 ingredients:
• 1 (20 oz) package cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
• 12 oz smoked sausage or andouille, sliced into rounds
• 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 red bell pepper, sliced
• 1 cup heavy cream
• ½ cup chicken broth
• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 2 tsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
• ½ tsp smoked paprika
• Salt & black pepper, to taste
• 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
🥣 directions:
cook the ravioli 🍴
Boil ravioli according to package directions until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
sizzle the sausage 🌭
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Add sausage slices and cook until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
build the creamy sauce 🥛
In the same skillet, sauté garlic and bell pepper for 2–3 minutes until softened. Stir in cream, broth, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.

Cranberry Feta Sourdough Pull-Apart Bread
Ingredients:

1 round sourdough loaf (about 1 lb / 450 g)

½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons (30 mL) olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup (100 g) crumbled feta cheese

½ cup (60 g) dried cranberries

2 tablespoons (5 g) fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon (15 mL) honey (optional for drizzle)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.

Place the sourdough loaf on the sheet and use a sharp knife to make diagonal cuts about 1 inch (2.5 cm) apart across the bread, being careful not to cut all the way through. Repeat in the opposite direction to create a crisscross pattern.

In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, and minced garlic. Drizzle the mixture evenly into the bread crevices.

Stuff the gaps with feta cheese, cranberries, and parsley.

Wrap the loaf loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake another 10 minutes until the top is golden and cheese is slightly melted.

📋 Ingredients (makes 2 sandwiches):
• 4 slices sourdough or rustic bread
• 1 ripe avocado, mashed or sliced
• 1 large ripe tomato, sliced
• 4 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
• 2 tbsp fresh basil leaves (optional, but heavenly)
• 2 tbsp butter, softened
• Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
• Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional for a kick)
🥣 Instructions:
Prep the bread – Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. This will be the outside that crisps up.
Layer it up – On the unbuttered side of two bread slices, spread mashed avocado (or layer slices). Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Add tomato slices, mozzarella, and basil leaves.
Assemble – Top with the other bread slices, buttered side facing out.

1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into small florets
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 flatbreads or naan
1/2 cup hummus (for spreading)
1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

For the Tahini Drizzle:
3 tablespoons tahini
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon water (more if needed for thinning)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of salt

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Toss cauliflower florets with olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on the baking sheet and roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and tender.

½ cup (60 g) fresh or dried cranberries

½ cup (50 g) walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped

1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey, for drizzling

Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange sweet potato rounds on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender and lightly caramelized.

Remove from oven and place a slice of Brie on each warm sweet potato round. Top with cranberries and toasted walnuts.

Drizzle with honey and garnish with fresh thyme before serving warm.
