Japan is known for its high quality art crafts, including industrial and consumer goods. Zojirushi products design is one of those which I admire. This new thermal bottle is one of the example. Cool design and esthetic appeal meet with quality functionality. Love it!!! When you travel next year to Kyushu with me you will witness and enjoy many of them. Check out the itinerary [email protected] and give me your reaction to it.

Shinto shrine ropes are not just an ornament. The thick twisted upper rope presents ‘cloud’, three round short ones suggest ‘rain’; the white paper hanging from the ropes are ‘thunders’. They are all important part of natural phenomena in which agriculture society prosper. Everything has meaning, which enriches Japan, the small island. Join me Kyushu in November 2022!

SAWA’s croissant is so far the best in Tokyo. It reminds me of buttery, crusty, airy and delicious croissant which I have first tasted in Paris 30 years so ago.
