We’re excited to announce the 2026-27 season of HD Live in Schools! Students and educators across the country will get to experience a dynamic lineup of operas, from the classic to the contemporary.

Through HD Live in Schools, the Met provides schools, school districts, and non-profits nationwide with tickets to Live in HD screenings; access to Met Opera on Demand; interdisciplinary curricular resources; professional development opportunities; and virtual student engagement initiatives—all at no cost.

The hits keep coming and they don’t stop coming! 🌟

The second half of the 2026-27 Access Opera season is just as epic as the first. School groups will have five productions to choose from when attending a final dress rehearsal live at the Metropolitan Opera House.

Participating schools also get access to free curricular resources and professional development workshops, in-school teaching artist residencies, and discount tickets to select evening performances.

Registration is now open for the 2026-27 season of Access Opera: Guild Open Rehearsals for Students. The fall lineup includes eight operas, ranging from world premieres to beloved revivals.

Through Access Opera, local students and educators receive tickets to final dress rehearsals live at the Metropolitan Opera House, complimentary curricular resources and professional development workshops, access to in-school teaching artist residencies, and discount tickets to select evening performances.

We had a great time last weekend at ’s Family Day, where we presented two workshops exploring sound, image, and emotion through Gabriela Lena Frank’s opera El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego.

April is the c̶r̶u̶e̶l̶l̶e̶s̶t̶ coolest month 😎

We had a blast at our annual Spring Open House! Young operagoers got to play in the (fake) snow, mingle with costumed actors, musicians, and choristers, write their own arias, try on costumes, and more—all before taking in a matinee performance of Puccini’s La Bohème.
