From the earliest stages of production in Havana, still photographer Deborah Harse flitted behind the scenes, appeared where no one expected her. She created an evocative series of black-and-white images. They never fail to take my breath away. Neither does Deborah. She arrived for our Midtown Manhattan breakfast on her bike – and she rides her pink bike all thru Calcutta where she now spends much of each year.
