This picture means more to me than you might realize.
This is Cullen and me at the beginning of our own Love Leader journey.

We were our first clients.

The work didn’t begin when we said “I do.” The real work began AFTER “I do.”

We had to learn that loving each other wasn’t just about how much we cared. It was about learning how to PUT LOVE TO WORK.

And we’re still doing that work today. Because this is what love looks like when you intentionally put it to work:
This is what love looks like when you intentionally put it to work:

You can be fully yourself without withholding, performing or protecting.

Your actions and reactions create an environment where your partner can experience love deeply.

Your relationship becomes healthy enough to inspire others.

Your partnership accelerates each other’s growth and development.

Your relationship becomes a sacred space to heal, grow, laugh, learn and become more of who you were created to be.

That’s what we mean by becoming a Love Leader® Couple.

Not perfect. Not conflict-free.

Committed to the practice.

We read the books. Have the conversations. Attend workshops. Take the trips. Get coached. Check ourselves. Keep learning each other.

Because healthy love doesn’t happen by accident.

That’s why couples like Tiffani & Keith, Nicole & Shannon Sr., Bunny & Malcolm, and Ronda & Breon inspire us.

There is something powerful about being in community with couples who can say: “We want the best for our relationship, and we’re willing to work for it.”

Now we’re bringing that energy to Dallas.

🎥 Love Leader Minute #13: Declare Your Interest Boldly
So many people get blindsided.
"I thought she really liked me." "He seemed so into it."

🖤 The truth is, they never actually confirmed it.
🖤 Dating isn't a space to assume. It's a space to ask.
🖤 Assuming and putting that assumption on someone else isn't fair, to them or to you.

As soon as you know what you want, declare it boldly. Clarity protects both people.

👇🏾 Have you actually said what you want out loud, or have you been hoping they'll just figure it out?

Situationship? Dysfunctionship? Or Healthy Love?

Which one best describes what's actually happening in your relationship?

Definitions are your friend and at WhenLoveWorks Dynamically, we give you the definitions for clarity along your love journey.

Here's the uncomfortable truth:
Longevity ≠ health.

You can be together for years and still be emotionally surviving.
You can have history, children, a home, shared responsibilities and plenty of anniversaries, and still not be intentionally developing the relationship.

Healthy love isn't about being problem-free.
It's about having the skills and willingness to build, repair and sustain the relationship when life gets real.

And healthy love requires mutual exchange.
Not necessarily equal every day.
But both people participating in its development.

So instead of asking: "How long have we been together?"
Try asking: "What evidence shows growth in our relationship this year?"
Have I learned to communicate differently?
Repaired something that used to stay unresolved?
Created more intentional time together?
Become more responsive to each other's changing needs?
Broken a pattern?

Look for the evidence.
Because being together isn't the same as growing together.
And surviving isn't the same as thriving.
🖤 That's Power Love Awareness.

Comment one word:
GROWING if you can point to evidence of growth this year.
REFLECTING if this question made you pause.

❤️Love Leader Reflection #12: Courting is clear. You're saying no to everyone else, yes to one another, and building toward something together.

Dating is not supposed to last more than eight weeks. Past that window, you're probably already in a courtship, you just haven't named it.

Without clear markers, undefined relationships don't stay neutral. They drift into gray areas, then situationships, then dysfunction.

Courtship removes the guesswork. It's a clear yes, to one person, toward one thing, together.

✨ Reflection: Have you named what you're building? Or is it still undefined?
📖 In Love Literacy, we help individuals and couples become Love Leaders®, people who choose clarity over gray areas. Use the link in bio to get your copy of Love Literacy today.

📚Love Leader Lesson #12: Undefined Isn't Neutral, It's a Risk
Dating is not meant to last more than eight weeks. Past that, you're likely already in a courtship, you just haven't named it or worked toward it intentionally.
Without clear markers, undefined relationships don't stay neutral. They drift into gray areas, then situationships, then dysfunction.
Courtship removes the guesswork. Two people saying no to everyone else, yes to each other, and building toward something real, together.
👆🏾 Swipe through and reflect: Have we named what we're building, or are we letting it stay undefined?
📖 In Love Leader, we give couples the language and the timeline to move from undefined to intentional. Order your copy today.

🎥 Love Leader Minute #12: Dating Has an Expiration Date Too

Dating is not supposed to last more than six, maybe up to eight weeks.

🖤 Past that window, you're probably already in a courtship, you just haven't named it.
🖤 Without clear markers, gray areas turn into situationships.
🖤 Situationships turn into dysfunctionships.

Courting is clear by design. You're saying no to everyone else and yes to one person, building toward something together. If you're ready to grow and do the work through this one person, you're ready for courtship.

👇🏾 Are you and your partner still "figuring it out," or is it time to name what you're actually building?

❤️Love Leader Reflection #11: You know you're ready for courtship when two people are ready to start building exclusively.

"Dating has one job: help you find out if this person wants to build with you, intentionally and exclusively." ~WLWD

Once that question is answered, the door to courtship is open. Not before.
A lot of people stay in dating far longer than they need to, not because they aren't ready, but because no one taught them what readiness actually looks like.

✨ Reflection: Have you and your partner actually answered the question? Or are you still assuming?

📖 In Love Literacy, we help individuals and couples become Love Leaders®, people who move forward with clarity instead of guesswork. Use the link in bio to get your copy of Love Literacy today.

📚Love Leader Lesson #11: The One Question Dating Is Meant to Answer

Dating exists to answer one question: does this person want to build with you, intentionally and exclusively?

Once that's answered, you're not just dating anymore. You're ready for courtship.
Ready means both people have said yes to building together on purpose, coordinating toward a real union.
Many people stay in dating far longer than necessary, not because they're not ready, but because no one told them what readiness actually looks like.

👆🏾 Swipe through and ask: Have we answered the real question, or are we still guessing?

📖 In Love Leader, we teach couples how to recognize readiness and move forward with clarity instead of assumption. Order your copy today

🎥 Love Leader Minute #11: Know When You're Ready for Courtship
Dating has one job: answer the question of whether this person wants to build with you, intentionally and exclusively.

🖤 Once that question is answered, you're ready for courtship.
🖤 Ready means both people are saying yes to building together, on purpose.
🖤 A lot of people camp in dating so long, they don't realize they're already ready for courtship.

If you're not both ready to intentionally build together, you're not ready for courtship yet. That's the line.

👇🏾 Have you and your partner actually answered the question, or are you just assuming the answer?
