📝 Eligibility:
• Open to all high school, community college, and undergraduate students of Filipino descent
• Must be a first-time awardee planning to attend the conference
• Priority given to active FANHS members (Student, Individual, or Family), but not necessary

📝 Requirements:
• Submit a project proposal and prepare a 10-minute presentation on Filipino American history.

Josh is a HoC collaborator, documentarian, and New Jersey–based videographer with nearly 15 years of experience in dance media. A respected pillar of the breaking community, his work has consistently highlighted the depth, energy, and global reach of the genre.

Through his work with , Josh has helped document and amplify the breaking scene at both the national and international levels, creating space for stories, battles, and voices to be seen and remembered. Hes focused on the craft and always documenting the moment. ✨

HoC collaborator and media producer, MJ is an NYC and LA-based director rooted in the Bronx, with a movement-driven approach to storytelling. He has been behind the camera since 2007, with over a decade of experience across dance, fashion, and cultural work.

His work spans videography, photography, and production, and he collaborates with global brands and leading media outlets for some of the East Coast’s most influential dance organizations. As founder of Studio and creative partner with , MJ is committed to telling stories that are forward-thinking.

She began her journey in the mid-2000s, shaped by years of dedicated training, traveling, and learning from pioneers and respected figures within the community. From immersive camps to countless workshops, her focus has always been on understanding the foundations, histories, and nuances of each dance style.

Nikki’s passion extends into organizing battles, producing workshops, and creating spaces for others to learn directly from original voices; always rooted in preservation while contributing to the culture’s growth.

Janice has extensive training across multiple dance styles and has performed and collaborated with renowned artists internationally. Her choreography has been featured at major arts venues. In addition to her dance career, she holds degrees in Biology, Dance, and Nursing, and works as a registered nurse.
