ARE YOU BEING TAUGHT THE CORRECT WAY?
________________________________________
When students fail the road test, it is usually for 1 of 3 reasons:
Nervousness
Need more practice
Poor technique

Pro Tip:
When you are nervous, you are likely to forget. Train to the point where everything you need to do is second nature. When it is second nature, you won’t forget and being nervous won’t be a big factor. You Got This!!!
If you have poor technique then it won’t matter how much training you get or how often you drive, you will still keep failing your test. Not all instructors are great instructors. Maybe take a lesson with a different driving school to get a second opinion. The road test is not just about “can you drive?” it’s also about “how you drive?”
Sometimes you just simply need more reps.
You are getting there but you need more and that’s ok. Don’t box yourself into a certain amount of lessons when you may possibly need more. Everybody learns at a different pace so don’t get discouraged if you are not progressing at the pace that you think you should. Learning to drive is not like reading a book or like reading a set of instructions on how to assemble a shelf, it’s more like learning to play a sport or perform a choreographed routine. Driving is a physical activity that involves physical coordination and multi-tasking. Unless you are naturally gifted in those areas it’s probably not going to be that easy to pick up. Hang in there!
Consistency:
Find a good instructor and get all your training from that one instructor. Different instructors have different training techniques and not every instructor is as knowledgeable as the next. You can watch Youtube videos and even get practice from other people but those things should enhance and not significantly deviate from what your instructor is showing you.
Stay consistent with your practice. At least once per week or at whatever pace allows you to see some progress from week to week and “progress” could be defined simply as not forgetting what you learned on your previous lesson.
