Tonight, Songs-In-The-Round with Brewster Smith, Lucas Rotman, David Lawrence Jack Milner and me...Elizabeth Rose.
Just four humble song makers swapping songs on our Rafter's stage. Melodic, fiery, intense, silly - and so much fun when you're with us.
(That's Tony Penn in the photo below. He'll be back with us in a few months when the sun in Florida runs out.)
Rafter's Tavern - next to the Callicoon Theatre, NY. 7-9 pm. Free. Just voted Best Small Music Venue for the third year in a row by River Reporter readers. And...Rafter's opened exactly 3 years ago!

Excited about the progress my virtual students are making these days. It's so much fun teaching guitar, songwriting, recording vocal and performance techniques. I'm offering half hour lessons for the PAUSE discount of $25 to a few more students. They're very focused and we make lots of progress in that bit of time. Regular lessons are 1 hour and I'm almost at capacity. However, PM me if you're interested in either.
Want to spruce up your guitar playing? Care to get a bit more crafty with your songwriting? Perhaps a little performance coaching? I'm teaching Virtual Lessons and can take on a few more students. PM me:)
Learning the basics; the low E string, the chromatic climb and the word, “enharmonic” - this will open up your understanding and flexibility as a player and songwriter. Promise.
Just finished teaching a lesson with my student, Paul. There's nothing more nourishing that seeing my students grow in confidence, technique, performance skills and songcraft. It's just FUN!
“Here Comes The Sun” - a snippet with low D tuning so I can sing it in my range. Please let me know if you’d like me to show you the rest of the guitar parts to this George Harrison masterpiece:). guitarcover
