Go Shuntelle Stephen it’s your birthday!! Chapter 34!! And many many more to go. It was 4 years ago on my birthday when I started TEEM Voices, a social start up aimed at tackling s*x trafficking, it has since evolved and also focuses on community activism. This is by far my favorite time of year, not only because it’s my birthday but it’s a time where i choose take a leap of faith for the betterment of my community. I’ve been fortunate to have the most amazing people in my circle and I couldn’t be more grateful for all of you who have supported me from both near and far... Fast forward 4 years later and Teem V as donated care packages to women and children in need, presented at various community forums, educated youths on s*x trafficking and provided over 300 backpacks and school supplies to kids in Trinidad.
You all know how much you mean to me, but on this birthday I’m extremely humbled by all the love and support received for the past few years. I never thought for a second that a simple dream would have such an impact both locally and internationally. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. On this birthday I feel extra special because God placed the most caring and priceless people in my circle.
Although COVID has changed up my birthday plans this year, it won’t be for long and I’m hoping to do a Back to School Drive at the end of the year so please stay tuned.
I am looking forward to this new chapter and all that God has in store for me... 34 let’s do this!

While in Trinidad, I had the amazing opportunity engage in community work and I personally want to Thank Renrick Kyle Campbell, Vaughnette, Ms. Wendy and the La Brea Council!
During my trip..........
I participated in a session called Saving Our Youth, to discuss the signs of s*x trafficking and partner bishop with the LaBrea Council. This was done through their local TV station TTT.
Met with Member of Parliament, Nicole Olivierre to discuss my mission behind The Back to School Drive held every year in honor of Abi, Brother Scott, Olivia and Tina❤️💜💚💙
Went to a local school (Brighton Anglican Primary School) to meet with students and teachers to distribute backpacks. Also pledge to help the school with book donations to help build a library for the kids( if you have any gently used books and/or new children books please reach out to me)
Met with council members and recipients of The Back to School Drive, heard amazing stories of how much the bags and supplies helped students. Even heard how students are doing exceptionally well in part of the help received ( *report cards to come😊*) This was AMAZING news and so heartfelt!
Visited the Point Fortin Seventh Day Adventist School with my pre school teacher Ms. Wendy to distribute backpacks to students. This was super emotional for us all, seeing that Abi taught at this school and her presence was felt all around. We cried, we laughed and promise to remember the person she was and the people she impacted♥️
Interviewed with the local newspaper Newsday to talk about the partnership between TEEM Voices and the Labrea Council, it’s mission and the vision behind the Back to School Drive. Also took the time to thank Shatina King aka Rydindirty with Tina Fit for hosting our Drive this year!
This was an amazing trip!!!! And I can’t wait to return! A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to my Birthday Back to School Drive, your donations are changing lives. From the depths of my heart ❤️ , I say THANK YOU!
