During May our Social Worker, Counselors, and CBO helped spread awareness about the importance of mental health. Additionally, we took time to celebrate the resilience of our students and the determination they continue to demonstrate in overcoming obstacles and showing up to school each day.

Our students had an incredible time diving into the world of unmanned aerial vehicles at Vaughn College's Drone Day event. From hands-on UAV Workshops to hearing from Expert Industrial Speakers, it was an action-packed day of learning about drone making and the future of the industry.
A huge thank you to the Vaughn College UAV Club, CSTEP, and the Engineering and Technology Department for hosting such an enriching event!

Aerospace students had the opportunity to explore careers in the local maritime, aviation, freight logistics, and emerging green industries at the seventh annual Maritime and Aviation Career Awareness Fair. It was a great opportunity for students to learn about career opportunities directly from industry leaders!

Last week at Area 53, we made unforgettable memories while celebrating our juniors for being on track for graduation! So proud of how far they’ve come and excited for what’s ahead.

Not only did our students engage with tech companies, computer science organizations, and colleges and universities to explore opportunities available to them after graduation, they also presented their full-stack web applications built during one of our Workplace Challenges!
