So wonderful to be highlighted once more as the 2024 “Person of the Year” for my work and popularizing sustainability through my educational programs and “Eco Hero” books by ! Scholastic UNESCO The MIT Press

What an honor to receive the "Person of the Year" Award from Frank Fol at the "Museum of the World" in Rotterdam yesterday in the company of visionaries who transform the culinary world with global initiatives that lead to smarter and healthier solutions. This award is given to companies and organizations that introduce groundbreaking innovations or projects for a more sustainable future. I am grateful to be honored with this accolade during the hospitality trade fair "Gastvrij Rotterdam."

Honored to be showcasing three of my photographs in the upcoming Housatonic Camera Club's show at the Cornwall Congregational Church's Parish House. SAVE THE DATE: May the 5th "Day of the Eco Hero"

Dear community of teachers, educators and students.

Do you want to be a part of a global media and education project benefiting Earth?

Do you want to invest in the future leaders of our planet?

Do you want to become the next generation of Eco Heroes?

If the answer is YES, then, join us on May the 5th, for the celebration of the “Day of the Eco Hero” with international TOP experts, for an exciting program brought to you by environmental economist Pamela Peeters.

The webinar will start at 10:00am EST and will last an hour and a half. Teachers and students will learn about the “Eco Hero Lab” project, will obtain hands-on science STEM from experts covering the four (ecosystems air/atmosphere, forest, water/oceans and soil) and see some short films. Some were made by kids who already took the “ECO HERO Challenge”.

New schools and youth groups/organizations are invited to take the challenge and register for our 2020 competition out of which several kids will be selected to become “ECO HERO” reporters and become part of an international group of certified “Eco Heroes”. Fifi made an "Eco Hero" painting for me during the 150th Anniversary of CANADA under British Crown. At that time, I not only presented my "Become an Eco Hero" lecture but also created a POP UP art studio, featuring previous works. Fifi made sure to let the world know that "she loves our planet" and went beyond the borders of her canvas to add a rainbow too. What is your wish for a happy and healthy planet?
