Choice is key in life – it empowers us to control our environment and shape our path. 🌟 Building this choice with learners takes time, but it’s worth it. When a learner actively chooses to engage with you, it sets a strong foundation for effective teaching. 🤔 How do you know if your learner isn’t choosing you? Watch for signs: avoiding you, crying, or just being wary around you. 🎈Create a fun space around you, with favorite toys and activities. Involve caregivers. Every interaction should be fun and encourage your learner to join you! 🌱 Pay attention to their smiles, engagement, and interest. Pairing yourself with what brings them joy will help to establish you as someone who brings joy too! 💬 Remember to ask yourself, is my learner choosing to be with me?
