..So here’s a stamp that’s all about stamps!:
The 2016 World Stamp Show was the second ever international stamp show, where stamp lovers across the world could meet and add to their collections - it was held here in NYC! And fun fact: these stamps honoring the show were only sold at the stamp show and online - they weren’t available through local post offices 😏

I’ve got a crazy stamp story for you for today’s !

This Maya Angelou stamp honors her work as an author, poet, actress, and champion of civil rights - with an image of her and a beautiful quote...
BUT...
PLOT TWIST - this quote wasn’t even said by her! It was written by Joan Walsh Anglund in 1967. Angelou often cited it during interviews which made for the confusion (but she never took credit, she just really loved it!) So, this forever stamp was never reissued since Angelou’s memorial stamp featured a quote from another author 😬😂
