Our elders advocating for restitution of financial support and full time positions at Centro de Estudios Puertorriquenos. Elba Cabrera, "La Madrina de las Artes" and sister to Evelina Antonetty and Dr. Gerard Meyers, founding faculty of Hostos Community College and scholar of Vito Marcoantonio, Congressman from East Harlem who fought for Puerto Ricans. David Galarza and Lillian Jimenez were moderators for the press conference. NY 1 Did a piece on us on 5/4/21 - hope you saw it.
