DEBATE:
"Peels," "ribbons," or "coins?"
VERDICT:
Garnishing with a ribbon is essentially for looks only, (unless you peel your ribbon over the drink). A "peel" is generally cut with a vegetable peeler, and it provides good looks AND taste. A "coin" is a small, disk-shaped cut of a fruit skin. It gives all the taste of a peel with way less hassle.
