The SGA Tutoring Lab offers LaGuardia students free one-to-one virtual tutoring for mathematics, chemistry, biology, human anatomy, physics, psychology, as well as for all levels of English and writing courses.

Do you enjoy helping others succeed? The Center for Teaching and Learning is recruiting current LaGuardia students or graduates who are interested in a paid, in-person position with LaGuardia's Center for Teaching and Learning as a Student Success Mentor.

Student Success Mentors (SSMs) support students enrolled in a First-Year Seminar (FYS) course. SSMs meet with FYS students in weekly Studio Hour lab sessions. In partnership with faculty, SSMs facilitate Studio Hour on topics including, but not limited to: time management, student success strategies, and ePortfolio development.
